Thanks to the magic of version control, we can fairly easily take a look at past versions of the game, so here’s a comparison with where we’ve come from exactly one year ago.
A lot happened this year, from the first sparks of an idea to deciding we wanted to pursue this as a serious production, to starting the studio, to leaving my day job. If releasing this game were a quest to destroy the One Ring, I would tentatively say we’ve only just left the Fellowship behind and crossed the river.
There’s a long journey ahead, and we’re ever mindful of burning out, so we’ll be taking a short break to rest before a new year of entirely new challenges!
